Day One: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Our driver will pick you from your hotel after breakfast then you drive to south-western Uganda. You will have a stopover at the equator for photos and experiments then proceed to Mbarara for lunch. After lunch, drive through the savanna grasslands and here you will be able to see the beautiful banana plantations and the long-horned herds of cattle (the pride of Ankole). As you ascend to the Kigezi highlands, you will begin enjoying the cool breeze of the Pearl of Africa. As you approach Bwindi, you will be able to see the peaks of the active Virunga volcanoes in Congo then drop off to the valley to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Check-in at the hotel of your choice for dinner and overnight.
Day Two: Gorilla Tracking
Wake up very early in the morning and after breakfast together with your packed lunch go the starting point for briefing and guidance about the activity. Here you will begin the walk in search of the gorillas passing through the thick forest slashing the thick grass to track the gorillas. During the walk, you will be able to see a variety of birds and other primates. On discovering the gorillas, you will be allowed 1 full hour with them as you watch the way they interact with each other and communicate, you will be allowed to take photos and record videos then walk back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day Three: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Wake up early in the morning after breakfast and together with your packed lunch, transfer to Kibale Forest National park. you will be able to see the Rwenzori ranges that are in the plains and are 60meters long, 40m wide and looking at a distance they as if they touch the sky.
The park is directly on the equator so its vegetation is dry savanna throughout the year with rainy seasons during March to May and September to November. You will be welcomed by charming baboons as you make your way to the park where you will get a chance to people picking tea leaves, markets, local brew etc. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice
Day Four: chimpanzee tracking
Wake up very early in the morning breakfast as you prepare go to kanyancu briefing Centre its from here they shall give you all the information, rules, and the guiding tips of the forest after that you shall be grouped in a number of 8 and ready to explore the apes, once you meet the chimps your only allowed to be with them for only one hour
After a beautiful sight move back to the park headquarter for the certificate award but surprisingly on you way back you may encounter other primates like red-tailed monkey, black colobus monkey, bush babies etc
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight
Day Five: Head to Kampala
Wake up very early in the morning at 7:30 and do the Bogodi swamp walk what you will see here its you to tell me, then return to the park for late breakfast as you Prepare yourself and drive back to Kampala having a stopover for picnic lunch then continue to Entebbe to catch up with your onward flight back home
