Day 1: Start with Ziwa Rhino and then Top of the Murchison falls.
At 06:30hrs we start on our 4 Days Murchison falls safari tour. We depart for the national park escaping from the congested suburbs of Kampala’s early morning rush hours, passing through towns seeing nationals going to work and others preparing their day-today businesses.
First target is the way rhino sanctuary; here we have a guided walk to see the endangered white rhinos, a very successful breeding program offering us a chance to contribute in conservation by paying for the permits to tack this rhino.
After rhino tracking, we drive to the restaurant for a hot lunch before entering the largest protected area in Uganda.
Drive to the top of the might Murchison falls for the magical and thundering experience. A place of its own. Later check into our Lodge.
Day 2: Explore The Beauty of Murchison falls National Park to the bottom falls
An early start in the search for Murchison falls big game; like lions, hyenas, jackals, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, numerous antelopes, leopards, amazing land escape that come out in the morning after breakfast.
All Game seems alive at this time of the day having survived through the night making it more rewarding.
We then return to the lodge for a hot lunch before setting off for a boat safari on the famous river Nile, a great opportunity of seeing water animals like; elephants, buffaloes, Nile crocodiles, king fisher’s, bee-eaters, monitor lizards rounding to what I call a water safari. Enjoy the evening game drive as you were enroute to the lodge.
Day 3: Morning game drive and then drive to Budongo eco lodge
An early departure into the bush in search of a game. Predators are more active during this time, creating more possibilities of seeing them hunting or feeding on their prey, herds of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeest, waterbucks, oribi, warthogs, and hyenas are very visible at about this time of the morning offering a detailed game drive with no pushing factors.
Break for lunch before driving to Budongo forest eco-lodge for check-in with chances of nature walk in the rain forest during evening hours.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest and bid farewell to Murchison falls National Park
After an early breakfast, we meet our Chimpanzee guide for briefing, equipped with enough drinking water and rain gear, enjoy the forest walk in search of the chimpanzee.
An average of one hour is spent upon meeting them but it’s never enough, returns to the reception before driving off for Kampala or Entebbe for your flight or overnight, lunch on the way.
