Wake up very early in the morning and after breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and then you drive to western Uganda in Mbarara district as you head to Lake Mburo National Park. On your way, you will have a stopover at the equator for pictures and you can also visit the craft shops then proceed with your journey that will take approximately 4hours. On arrival in the park, you will check-in at the hotel of your choice then have lunch prepare for a boat cruise in the park. During the cruise, you will get an opportunity to see a variety of bird species like African fin foot, papyrus bush shrike on the shores of the Lake and a number of animals like Burchellâ€™s zebras, Oribis, Defassa waterbucks, Bohor reedbuck, impalas, elands, etc. Then after the cruise, retire at your hotel for dinner and overnight.
HEAD TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Wake up very early in the morning at around 06:30 for a game drive and here you may get a chance of seeing the early risers like Oribis, Defassa waterbucks, Bohor reedbuck, impalas, elands then return to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park having a stopover in Kabale for lunch as you proceed to the park. Enjoy a game drive as you pass through the park that is home to half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world and its also a destination for birders being home to over 350 species. Check-in at the hotel of your choice for dinner and overnight.
Wake up early in the morning and after breakfast; get ready to meet the gorillas. you are supposed to wear trousers and gumboots because the forest has biting insects and the ground is quite boggy and packed lunch then head to the ranger station for briefing before you enter into the forest with the guides. Begin your search for the gorillas and as you walk, you will notice that there are some primate climbing on tree branches like the baboons, black and white Colobus monkeys, red-tailed and blue monkeys etc and a number of birds. as you approach the gorillas, you will hear murmuring sound from the bush and when you locate them, you will be filled with joy because of it a memorable experience. You are only allowed one hour with the gorillas and during this time you will be able to see how the young ones play on tree branches and the way the adults look for their babies, take photos and relax with them then return to your lodge and in the late evening you may participate in the cultural walk. Dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast go to Kanyanchu ranger station for a briefing from the ranger or guide. After briefing, you will enjoy a guided walk through the forest in search of the chimpanzees and Kibale being a tropical forest found in the northern and central parts of the park, its home to the biggest number of chimpanzees in Uganda. During the walk, you are likely to come to a close view of some of the primates like baboons, monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys etc and a number of colorful butterflies. In the evening, drive to Kampala arriving late in the night then our driver will transfer you to the Airport for your flight back home...
